We are a small farm that has decided to specialize in black and grey!
We have been blessed with true black, bay black, and dark rose grey crias since we started 2 years ago. So, from now on, our breeding decisions will be for the hopes of black and grey animals!!!

At present, a full time alpaca breeder....
I love to read, garden ~ both flowers and veggies, crochet, and do crafty stuff. I also love to ride my horse, Gabriel. I work mostly part-time jobs since having our two boys. We have done without many times for me to stay home with them. They are now teens and will be off to college soon, so I started my own business, which has changed my life forever!

WALNUT HILL FARM ~ ~ ~ SERVICES

We are full service farm which includes boarding, breeding, farm set-up, financing, and lifetime mentoring.

I have started a new service of the farm.... Alpaca Sitting

I will come to your farm and take care of your animals twice daily. Services include feeding , fresh water, fencline patrol, and bean scooping.
So, go ahead and take the weekend off, or longer if you wish! I will take care of your babies as if they were my own! I will also take care of other critters too... ie: horses, goats, chickens, pigs, cats, and dogs.

Fees and refferences upon request

Hi Everyone, welcome to my farm. Home of MEDALLION'S EBONY MAGIC !!! 2010 Color Champion Black Male... Michigan Spring Show.
I have owned alpacas for 3 years and am loving it! The farm is located on 9 acres in southern Lapeer County, in Mid-Michigan.
We started out with 2 bred females and a gelding. Of course, the girls both gave us boys! Yipee! We were hoping that this year would be the girl year. Yay ! We have had 2 very nice looking girls!!! We are only going to the 2 local shows this… Continue

Good for you. I'm really excited for this years crias. I've used a LRG male and my own MSG male. Both have microns of 16.

Thank you for the welcome. I'm really looking forward to what alpacasocial has to offer. MaryAnn had invited me to attend the webseminar on the 28th. Looking forward to it.
Thanks for the complaint on the alpacas. I'm also working towards breeding for blacks, greys and rose greys. Unfortunally, some of my alpacas didn't read their manual on how to be the perfect alpaca. LOL They gave me whites and fawns.

Nancy, There are no hard feelings, now worries. I was raised with a great upbringing. and one thing my parents taught me, we not to judge and never to run down another farm and or people in general. Even if they have a history. It doesn't help us. Our business, soul and or relations. Life is way to short.
And thank you for your humility.
Please feel free to ask me any questions, anytime. I have been raising alpacas, llamas and other exotics over 20 years. ugh! I am getting old.

Thank You! They are so much better. Fraser is eating out of my hand now! Now that I bring them in each night, they are much less fearful of me! And it's changed everything! I couldn't understand how people could approach alpacas before.
